This was no mean feat.
Firstly I had to delve into my graphic design skills. It took several emails until the design was properly defined. Translating a stylized cartoon can be tricky, so it took a bit before I got the profile and dimensions to match the clients vision.
Then there was much material research and sourcing, pattern making, shape testing, cutting, shaping, sewing and gluing.
This costume was proudly hand made, by me in my little Bondi workshop. Because of the tight deadline I spent many late hours for two weeks to get it made.

I was sent a cartoon of a super hero dog, and using that as a guide, designed a costume in human shape and scale. This is the final illustration that got the go ahead.
