These two gorgeously dark and mysterious creatures got styled up in Sydney for the infamous Dark MOFO masquerade ball at the darkest time of the year, Winter Solstice in Tasmania.
Black Rabbit is wearing a Medieval style brocade tunic with filigree gold buttons, so decadant – made by Agent Costume herself! The hooded satin cape is lined, double the layer for extra warmth and luxury. The bunny mask became even more appropriate once we realised his partner was going as a white rabbit! Light and shadow, mysteriously synchronistic. Thankfully I was able to alter the black jacket to fit his bigger frame. It did occur to me when i made the suit that it might need to be altered, so i made those provisions within the design.
The glamour Diva behind the glittering black jet layered jewels across her startling mesmerising blue eyes, came into our magic costume room with no set idea of what she wanted, and within 30 minutes we had her styled up with corset and matching accessories. The beaded necklace was her own exploration of the theme, within minutes her outfit was personalised and complete.
