The client sent me a cartoon of a super hero dog asking if I could turn him into a wearable costume.
I sent them back an illustration of a costume designed to human shape and scale.
The images went back and forth until the paw shape and nose shape, profile etc were understood and agreed upon.

I had to research materials and estimate a time frame based on the finished design.
Materials were sourced from all over Sydney then they were cut, shaped, stitched and glued together.
The deadline was tight, so I hired some help to make sure it was completed in time.
How hot does the costume get, and how can they see?
There are two fans in the head so that the person wearing it doesn’t get too hot too quickly. How awesome is that? Fans!
They can see through the eyes, and also through a gauzed hole under the snout, although it is still always recommended to have a chaperone as vision it still limited.
There is a zip at the back under the cape, and the mascot head is snapped on with poppers around the neck.
