Queen Emeraldas.
I helped this lady get a 1950’s outfit together for a 1950’s wedding she needed to attend.
A few months later she came back with a request to get a Queen Emeraldas costume made.
She sent me some images and I told her how much of each fabric she had to buy for the cape, the cape lining and the dress, and how much gold piping to get.
She picked a lovely red linen for the dress, a silk for the cape lining and a beautiful wool fabric for the outside cape.
On the way into Agent Costume Headquarters, she stopped at a fashion boutique and was amazed to find a big black T-shirt with the skull and cross bones on it. To her amazement the store person gave it to her as it was old stock! How amazing is that! Very fortuitous.
All I had to do was cut it out and sew it on! Well, i interfaced it first to give it some body and then stitched it on.
Then she returned to pick it up, she was able to stay while I made some adjustments, then she put the whole thing on and caught the bus and train home in it!
Obviously for the event she was attending she added the other accessories, blonde wig and weapons.
