How did Agent costume’s sewing skills contribute to an AAMI TV commercial?
We were hired by an art director to produce a number of painted banners to be displayed in a street parade scene of the AAMI insurance campaign.
My role was to secure a warehouse to work from, a handful of talented people to cut, paint glue and sew about about a hundred banners in less than a week, and to source a truck load of materials to turn into said banners.
tick, tick, tick and tick.
By the end of the week, our work was done, Go Rhonda, we love you Rhonda, Rhonda Rocks! etc.
We were given a number of designs, and a colour palette and off we went, with our coloured paper and paint buckets, rollers and brushes, sissors and glue!
It was a small role in a large production and it consumed us for 5 days, Rhonda!Rhonda!Rhonda!
