How do I hire a fancy dress costume from Agent Costume?
It’s best to make an appointment to have a look at the costume selection.
You will need a guided tour, as the collection is packed away and needs an experienced person to pull out relevant pieces at the relevant time of your dress up session.
Dress ups are highly recommended. It’s difficult to see how an outfit will translate without seeing it all together. What looks amazing on one person may not look so crash hot on another. All it takes is a little tweak in some cases, like a ribbon instead of a sash, or a change of hat band and a different pair of gloves.
Our experience with current and past trends of fashion and styling means that you get personalised attention and a polished look that will have others impressed with your efforts. You may look cutting edge, or intentionally funny, and we will always be honest with what we think.
A trained professional who is familiar with the costumes will be better able to hand you the right fitting garments and items which suit your shape and skin tones, and they will find the perfect necklace, or head piece, or hat or bow tie to finish the costume off gorgeously and succinctly if required.
You get a personalised service ensuring your costuming needs are met and accessorised to the highest level of skill and style. At the very least, you will be left with some clearer options to choose from, or a more defined avenue of action to achieving your ultimate costume expression! YaY!
There is an array of sizes from small to extra large, so it’s worth coming in to have a look.
Costumes can be made to measure should you have the budget for it.
If your party is soon, you can take the costume with you then and there.
If the party is in a week or more later, you can leave a deposit to hold it, and finalise the difference when you pick it up.
It’s easy.
Because we are still relatively unknown, we’ve had customers win the best costume prize at their events even when they’ve come by at the last minute desperately hoping there may be something suitable to fit them and the event theme.
It seems unfair to reward such last minute efforts, but who knows? Maybe their last minute effort was because they were tending properly to other areas of life that are deserving of more accolades. I don’t know. That’s just the way the world works sometimes.
I do have to say that giving yourself at least 2 weeks is good timing, because if there needs to be something made up to finish your costume perfectly or if alterations are needed, then there is time to get it sorted.
So what are you waiting for?
